Virtual Fax - Overview

A Virtual Fax (vFax) is an alternative to a physical fax machine and allows users to receive faxes via email. Inbound faxes are converted to a PDF files which are then delivered to the email addresses specified for that line.

Different Virtual Fax Services

There are two types of vFax services that we offer:

1. Dedicated Virtual Fax:  The phone number is set up to receive faxes only.
2. Outbound Virtual Fax:  The phone number is set up to send faxes only. Once it's enabled on your account, end users who have an email address on their profile can send faxes as a PDF attachment right from their email accounts.
