Genesys Cloud - Add Permanent Popup Exception

Overview

Some users have chrome configured to re-enable popups any time Chrome is restarted. For this reason, we need to implement a "permanent" pop up exception for Genesys.

How to Add Permanent Exception

  1. Have the user sign into the 988 Portal and launch Genesys through there
  2. Login using the correct method - click here for the guide!
  3. Click the "Settings" icon to the left of the URL
  4. Click Site settings
  5. Find JavaScript and set to Allow
  6. Find Pop-ups and redirects and set to Allow
  7. Close settings and refresh Genesys Cloud
